Maintenance of Exhaust gas temperature sensors

  • Theoretically recommended change interval is 250k KM but real replacement interval is earlier.
  • Sensors working at the T3 position break down earlier due to vibrations, in particular on downs zed engines.
  • If the sensor's environment gets too hot, the sensor can break down in the case of a clogged catalyst or DPF (Diesel Particle Filter), for example.
